The release from KDMC highlights the difficulties in accurately determining the number of casualties due to the severe impact of the blast. With body parts recovered from the site, authorities emphasize the necessity of DNA tests to ascertain the exact count of fatalities.
According to official reports, a total of 68 people sustained injuries in the factory blast, with 42 already discharged from hospitals. The remaining 26 patients are undergoing treatment in various medical facilities, with 12 of them receiving intensive care.
