Fadnavis performed the aarti in the morning as part of his visit, as per a release from the district administration. The chief minister interacted with sadhus and mahants at the temple, discussing key religious matters.
His visit comes ahead of the Simhastha Kumbh Mela, a major religious gathering in Nashik. Accompanying him were State Disaster Management Minister Girish Mahajan and several MLAs.
Senior officials, including Divisional Commissioner Dr Pravin Gedam and Collector Jalaj Sharma, were also present. The visit was seen as a significant engagement with religious leaders ahead of the grand event.
Security arrangements were in place to ensure a smooth visit for the chief minister and officials. The Simhastha Kumbh Mela is expected to draw millions of devotees from across the country.
Prior to the temple visit, Fadnavis paid floral tribute to freedom fighters to mark Shaheed Din. The visit reaffirmed the government’s commitment to facilitating religious events and maintaining dialogue with spiritual leaders.
