Jagat Prakash Nadda posted on X, "Today I had the good fortune to visit and worship the famous "Raja of Lalbagh" of Mumbai. On this occasion, prayed to Ganpati Bappa for the welfare and happiness and prosperity of all the countrymen."
Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis who received Nadda at the airport posted on X, "Bharatiya Janata Party’s National President, Hon. J P Nadda Ji took darshan and divine blessings of Lalbaugcha Raja in Mumbai. We all offered prayers at the feet of the grand and mighty Lalbaug cha Raja."
Among others who were present on the occasion include, Bharatiya Janata Party State President Chandrashekhar Bawankule, BJP Mumbai President Advocate Ashish Shelar, BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawde, Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha and MLC Pravin Darekar.
According to reports, Nadda's schedule includes visits to various Ganpati idols in both Mumbai and Pune, including the revered Ganapati of Keshavji Naik Chawl in Girgaon.
On Saturday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah also visited the Lalbaugcha Raja Ganesh Pandal in Parel, where he offered prayers to Lord Ganpati. Following his visit to Lalbaugcha Raja, Shah proceeded to CM Eknath Shinde's official residence, Varsha, where he sought the blessings of the Ganpati idol installed there
