The reason behind the Dev Corpora building Fire has been revealed after the investigations. A massive fire broke out on the 11th floor of Dev Corporate commercial building in Khopat, Thane West on 17th September. Ten people were rescued from the site and the fire was extinguished by 4am. No injuries were reported. Officials said the blaze occurred at the Jijau Foundation office, located on the 11th floor of a building near Cadbury Junction in Khopat, around 11:51pm on Tuesday night leading to heavy smoke inside the building. Thane's Chief Fire Officer Girish Zalke on Thursday said that smoke generated by the fire that broke out on the 11th floor of the Dev Corpora building on Tuesday night spread rapidly as the high-rise’s exhaust system had been shut.
