Ratan Tata Death LIVE Updates: BMC decides to postpone the dedication and groundbreaking ceremony of various development works

The dedication and groundbreaking ceremony of various development works in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation area, scheduled for Thursday, October 10, 2024, has been postponed, BMC said in a statement. Their statement read, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde was scheduled to dedicate and lay the foundation stone of  various development works in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation area on Thursday, 10 October 2024 at 12.30 pm in the premises of the planned Marathi Bhasha Bhavan at Charni Marg. However, after the demise of veteran industrialist, Padma Vibhushan Ratan Tata, a day of mourning is being observed in the state today, in his honour. Hence, the inauguration and ground-breaking ceremony have been postponed. Additional information will be posted soon.
