On Sunday, Thane reported 27 new cases of Covid-19, taking its infection tally to 1,96,503, a health official said.

With the addition of the latest numbers on Sunday, Thane city currently has 244 active Covid-19 cases, as per the data shared by the official.

The death toll remained unchanged at 2,159 as no fatality was reported on Sunday.
The recovery rate of the city is 98.78 per cent.
