The Mahindra Group Chairman, Anand Mahindra, took to Twitter to share a report that ranks Mumbai as the 'second most honest city in the world'.

The report which was originally posted by Norwegian diplomat Erik Solheim ranks Mumbai and Helsinki in Finland as the most honest cities in the world.

“Not surprised, but certainly very gratified to see the results of this experiment. And if you factor in the relative levels of income in each country, Mumbai’s outcome is even more impressive!” Mahindra tweeted.

Reader's Digest conducted 'the Wallet experiment' to see who and which were the most honest cities in the world.

The report tweeted by the business tycoon on September 15 has gone viral with over 2,800 likes, 390 retweets and several comments.

"This is for sure driven by the famous Mumbai auto walas. The most honest, and helping in the country. In no other place I have seen Auto walas return 2 rupee for 18, when you give them 20", said a Twitter user responding to Mahindra's post.

Another Twitter user said, "Yes, People of Mumbai are most Honest and helpful. I remember in 2010 I was coming to Mumbai by Rajdhani express. Auto driver charge me 200 rs for bus stop to station and for same distance I have paid 32 rs in mumbai and auto driver took only Rs 32 even I forced to keep change".

'Mahindra Amphibious Vehicles'

In another tweet, Mahindra shared a video of Thar crossing a riverbed amid strong currents. He wrote, "After I RT’d the tweet about a Bolero in Gujarat wading through floodwaters, several of you shared this video that’s circulating on Youtube. I think we may well have to create a new vertical called ‘Mahindra Amphibious Vehicles’ (MAV’s!) (sic)."
