In a traffic advisory for PM Modi's rally in Mumbai, the city police said that a traffic congestion is likely to happen on the road leading to Shivaji Park.

Mumbai Police on Wednesday issued a traffic advisory ahead of PM Modi's rally in Mumbai.  PM Modi will be addressing a public rally organised by the Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) on May 17 at Shivaji Park in Dadar.

 

PM Modi on Wednesday held a roadshow in Mumbai's Ghatkopar area.


 
In a traffic advisory for PM Modi's rally in Mumbai, Mumbai Police said, the Maharastra Navnirman Sena is going to organise “Jahir Sabha" on Friday, May 17 at Shivaji Park, Dadar (West), Mumbai. 
 
The police said that Prime Minister, Maharashtra Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, many supporters and followers from all over Maharashtra are likely to be participate in the rally,  due to which a large number of vehicles are expected on the Western and Eastern Express Highway and traffic congestion is likely, especially on the road leading to the venue.
 
The police said that the following traffic arrangement is made on 17/05/2024 between 10.00 hrs. to 24.00 hrs.
 
No Parking
 
S.V.S. Road: From Baba Saheb Worlikar Chowk (Century Junction) to Hari Om Junction.
 
Entire Keluskar Road South and Keluskar Road North, Shivaji Park, Dadar.
 
Entire M. B. Raut Marg, Shivaji Prak Dadar.
 
Pandurang Naik Marg (Road no S) Shivaji Prak, Dadar.
 
Dadasaheb Rege Marg, Shivaji Prak, Dadar.
 
Lt. Dilip Gupte Marg: - From Shivaji Park Gate No. 4 to Shitaladevi Road, Shivaji Park, Dadar.
 
L. J. Road: - From Gadkari Junction, Dadar to Shobha Hotel, Mahim. Junction, Dadar (East)
 
N. C. Kelkar Road: - From Hanuman Temple Junction to Gadkari Junction, Shivaji Park, Dadar.
 
T. H. Kataria Road: - From Ganga Vihar Junction to Asawari Junction, Mahim.
 
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Road: - From Maheshwari Circle to Kohinoor
 
Tilak Road: - From Kotwal Garden Circle, Dadar (West) to R.A. Kidwai road, Matunga (East)
 
Khan Abdul Gafar Khan Road: - From Sealink road to J. K. Kapur Chwak upto Bindu Madhav Thackeray Chowk.
 
Thadani Road: - From Poddar Hospital junction to Bindu Madhav Thackeray
Chowk.
 
Dr. Annie besant Road: - From Poddar Hospital junction to Dr. Narayan Hardikar
Junction.
 
Vehicular Traffic will be regulated on below mentioned roads and if needed will be diverted for which alternate routes are the  following- 
 
S.V.S. Road North Bound: From Siddhivinayak Junction to Yes Bank Junction.
 
Alternate Route: From Siddhivinayak Junction to S. K. Bole Road- Agar Bazar - Portuguese Church - Left turn- Gokhale or S. K. Bole Road.
 
S.V.S. Road South Bound: 
 
Alternate Route: Dandekar Chowk-left turn to Pandurang Naik Marg, Raja badhe- Chawk right turn- L. J. Road to Gokhale road or N C Kelkar Road.
 
Important instructions for those attending the rally 
 
The police said that the vehicles coming from various areas shall drop the participants at the alignment point and proceed for parking at designated places as follows.
 
Western and Northern Suburbs: Vehicles coming from western and northern suburbs through Western Express Highway shall drop the participants on Senapati Bapat road between Mahim Railway station to Ruparel collage area and proceed for parking at Mahim Reti Bander, Kohinoor PPL Parking, India Bulls Finance center PPL parking, Kamagar Stadium and on Senapati Bapat Road, While Light Motor Vehicles can be park at India Bulls One center PPL parking.
 
Eastern Suburbs: Vehicles coming from Thane and Navi-Mumbai using Eastern Express Highway shall alight participants near Dadar T. T. Circle and proceed for parking towards Five Gardens, Matunga and R.A.K. 4 Roads.
 
Mumbai City and South Mumbai: - Vehicles coming from South Mumbai using Veer Savarkar Road shall alight participants at Ravindranath Natya Mandir and
proceed for parking at India Bulls Finance centre PPL parking, Raheja PPL. Parking, Sudam Kalu ahire road, worli, Padurang Budhkar Marg Galxo Junction
upto Kume Chowk, Sudam Kalu Ahire Road, worli, Narayan Hardikar Marg. Sacred Heart High School up to JK Kapur Chowk, similarly, Vehicles coming using B. A. Road shall drop the participants at Dadar T. T. Circle and proceed to parking at the designated parking place at Five Garden or R.A.K. 4 Road.
 
Parking for buses 
 
Buses parking on entire Senapati Bapat Marg, Mahim railway station upto Tilak
Bridge.
 
Buses parking on entire Reti Bandar, Mahim Junction.
 
Buses parking on entire Lady Jahangir road, Ruiya Juction upto Five Garden St. Joseph school, Matunga.
 
Buses parking on entire Nathalal Parikh road, St. Joseph school upto Khalsa College, Matunga.
 
Buses parking on entire R.A.K. 4 Raod from Arora Junction, Lijat papad Junction upto AIDS hospital.
 
Buses parking at Lodha PPL Parking, Senapati Bapat road lower parel.
 
Buses parking at Sudam kalu ahire road (Durdarshan Lane).
 
Buses parking at Sasmira road (Worli Bus Depot area).
 
Car parking
 
Car parking at Kamagar Stadium (Senapati Bapat Marg) Elphinston.
 
Cars parking at Kohinoor PPL parking, Shivaji Park, Dadar.
 
Cars parking at India Bull Finance Center PPL parking, Elphinstone.
 
Cars parking at Raheja PPL Parking, Sudam Kalu Ahire Road, Worli.
 
Buses parking at Pandurang Budhkar Marg from Galxo Junction to Kurne Chowk.
 
Cars parking at Pandurang Budhkar Marg from Galxo Junction to Deepak Talkies Junction.
 
Cars parking at Narayan Hardikar Marg from Hardikar Junction to Sacred Heart High School.
