Mumbai: Water cuts in Borivli, Dahisar on May 5, 6

Diversion of a 1,500-mm pipeline will be done at Borivli West from 11.55 pm on Thursday to 11.55 pm on Friday

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) will undertake the work of diversion of a 1,500-mm diameter water main at Borivli West from 11.55 pm on Thursday, May 5, to 11.55 pm on Friday, May 6. During this period there will be no water supply in  Borivli and Dahisar on Friday, said the corporation officials.


And, on Thursday, water supply timings will change. This work will be done opposite Aura hotel, Link Road, Borivli West.


“Charkop, Gorai, Eksar, Shimpoli, Vazira Naka, and all of Borivli West will get water supply from 7.10 am to 9.40 pm on Thursday instead of 11.50 am to 1.55 pm. There will be no water supply in the area on Friday,” said an official from BMC’s hydraulics engineering department.


There will also be a change in water supply timings in Dahisar West. LIC Colony, Eksar village, Dahisar Village, Kandarpada, Link Road, and also all of Dahisar West will get water supply from 9.40am to 11.55 pm on Thursday. “There will be no water supply in the area on Friday,” the official further stated. BMC has appealed to citizens to store water and cooperate with the administration.
