Mumbai: Traffic in Worli to be affected, MSRDC plans work on Love Grove flyover till Feb 11

The traffic movements in Worli are likely to be affected due civil repair works in the area which would be taken up between February 4 to February 11.


According to a traffic notification issued by the Mumbai Traffic Police on Friday, the Executive Engineer, Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation Ltd. has said that expansion joints on Love Grove flyover on Dr. Annie Besant Road in Worli are damaged and have to be replaced.


The notification issued by Raj Tilak Roushan, Deputy Police Commissioner, Traffic said, as there will be a lot of traffic inconvenience to the public at the said spot, it is necessary to temporarily close the road and divert the traffic.


The notification further said that in order to facilitate smooth flow of traffic on the said road and also in order to prevent obstruction, and inconvenience to the public the following order was being issued.

Road Closure:

Love Grove flyover on Dr. Annie Besant Road will be closed for all type vehicular traffic.

Alternate Route:

Traffic towards Worli Junction via Love Grove flyover, will use the north bound (under the said bridge) of Dr. Annie Besant Road.
