On Thursday morning, commuters travelling in Mumbai's Matunga Central found themselves stuck in unusual traffic as a dumper truck climbed up a divider along the busy Tulpule Bridge

On Thursday morning, commuters travelling in Mumbai's Matunga Central found themselves stuck in unusual traffic as a dumper truck climbed up a divider along the busy Tulpule Bridge.


The incident occurred around 6 am on Thursday morning, when the dumper loss control, and climbed up the divider on the Tulpule Bridge in Matunga Central.


The bridge is connects King Circle, Sion and Matunga. With an aim to keep commuters informed about the situation and advise alternative routes, the Mumbai Traffic Police swiftly posted an alert on their official X account. The alert read, "Tulpule Bridge Matunga North: Traffic slow as dumper divider climbs up. Please use alternate routes if possible."


According to the eyewitness, the driver suffer minor injuries. The dumper truck was loaded with debris. It hit the divider of the road at Matunga near Gandhi Market.
