According to the police, around 11.15 am on Sunday, when the brothers were watching television, it exploded and the fire started spreading in the house.
Speaking to mid-day, society secretary Mehul Doshi said, “We heard a loud noise and when we checked, we saw the Vyas’s house on fire. The brothers were trapped inside. We informed the fire brigade. The fire spread rapidly due to the furniture in the house.” The house was gutted.
The fire brigade rescued the brothers and extinguished the fire. The brothers were given first aid at the local hospital and allowed to leave.
