Mumbai on Thursday reported 147 new coronavirus cases and zero fatalities, the city civic body said.  Of the new cases, 8 patients were symptomatic while the rest were asymptomatic. A day earlier Mumbai reported 141 new cases and no fatalities. At least 179 patients recovered from the infection on Thursday. The city has 1,037 active patients.


There were 5,122 tests done on Thursday. The recovery rate of Mumbai is 98.2 per cent. The doubling rate is 4,968 days. Maharashtra saw 429 new COVID-19 patients and one death on Thursday. This takes the state’s COVID-19 positive count to 81,29,105. At least 466 people recovered in the state on Thursday. On Wednesday, the state recorded 418 cases and three coronavirus-linked fatalities.
