While the corporation started vaccinations for those from 18 to 44 years from May 1, only 3,419 people received the first dose of vaccines till May 2 from the 90 lakh beneficiaries in the age group. “The vaccination was carried out in five centres - Nair, BKC, Rajawadi, Cooper and Seven Hills. We haven’t received any new stock of vaccines and don’t know when and how much stock we will get. So the vaccination won’t be carried out on Monday,” said an official from the BMC.
