Mumbai Metro One reaches record ridership of 1,00,000

Mumbai Metro One reaches record ridership of 1,00,000

The Mumbai Metro One reached a record ridership of over 1,00,000 on Monday. This is more than 350% of weekday ridership for October 2020, stated a press release.


To cater to increase in ridership, Mumbai Metro One increased its services from 240 to 256 on weekdays.



From October 19, 2020, Mumbai Metro One services were opened to all without age or gender restrictions and with strict safety protocols.


Currently, Metro services are available with first train from Versova at 6.50 am and last train from Ghatkopar at 10.15 pm with stations opening 15 minutes before the scheduled departure of the first train.
