"The civic body cleared the roads on the west side of the railway station in Dadar on July 28, opening up the passage under the Kavi Keshavsut flyover for pedestrians. However, as soon as BMC vehicles stopped visits to the area, hawkers started returning. The BMC has now decided to focus on cleanliness of the area, especially near the flyover and flower market," said Prashant Sapkale, assistant commissioner of G North Ward.
