Two people were booked for performing stunts on motorcycles by the Vikhroli Parksite Police on Friday.

The accused were identified as Arbaz Mohammad Harun Khan (20), and Arman Kayyum Sheikh (21), both residents of Ghatkopar.

The 16-second video shows them riding the bikes while standing on the seats went viral on social media and caught Mumbai Police's attention. The video, shot on the road adjacent to Kailash Complex, Vikhroli (West), was posted on January 5.

The Mumbai police took cognisance of the matter and alerted Parksite Police to probe.

"The incident had occurred on October 20, 2020, at 5.10 pm and the video was uploaded on Instagram on January 5, 2021, at 8 pm. We have seized the bikes and booked both bikers under IPC section 279 (rash driving) and relevant sections of Motor Vehicles Act," an officer from Parksite police station said.
