A police constable saved the life of a man who tripped and fell while trying to board a moving local train at Dahisar railway station.


The official twitter account of Mumbai police shared the video and lauded the quick thinking of Constable Yogesh Hiremath.



The video shows the commuter arriving at the platform when the train had already begun moving. He tried to board the train but lost balance and slipped. Hiremath who was passing by, sprang into action and pulled him from the edge.

Hiremath’s prompt action helped avert any untoward situation.

The video has been viewed thousands of times and Hiremath is being praised for his readiness.
