In some relief to licensed liquor shop owners in the city, the BMC has come out with a fresh circular allowing home delivery of alcohol throughout the week.

The deliveries will be allowed all days of the week, from 7 am to 8 pm, and the person delivering alcohol will have to follow all COVID-19 protocols.

The circular, however, mentioned that people ordering alcohol, will need to have a necessary liquor permit.

Municipal Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal issued the fresh guidelines on Saturday.
