The Mumbai Airport Customs seized foreign currency worth 4,97,000 USD equivalent to approximately Rs 4.1 crore in Indian Rupee


According to reports, one family of three Indian passengers departing to Dubai via Fly Dubai flight FZ 446 was intercepted. The family had two elderly passengers and one other male passenger.

The baggage examination of Dubai-bound passengers passengers led to a recovery of 4,97,000 USD.

The three apprehended passengers have been arrested and have been sent for judicial custody.
