A 28-year-old man drowned in Chulna Lake at Vasai (west) on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Savio Paul.

According to the police, a group of five people had gone for a walk by the lake on Sunday at around 5.30 pm. Savio went into the lake to swim and drowned.

However, even after 18 hours, his body has not been recovered yet. The villagers and fire-fighters are searching for the body.
