Maharashtra HSC results 2021: Class 12 scores announced, check here

The Maharashtra State Board announced the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) results at 4 pm on Tuesday.

As many as 99.63 per cent of the 12 lakh students have passed the exam. This is the highest ever pass percentage by the Maharashtra Board.

As many as 6,542 schools obtained a 100 per cent result or all the students from these schools have been promoted. Further, 46 students have scored 100 per cent marks in Maharashtra HSC Results 2021. Region-wise, the Konkan division recorded the best pass percentage with 99.81 per cent while Aurangabad was the least performing area with 99.73 per cent of students from the region clearing the exam.

"No examination was conducted for the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the marks were calculated based on the internal assessment of students' performance," board chairman Dinkar Patil said.

"This year the evaluation was done on the basis of internal assessment marks which schools sent to the board....The board received internal assessment scores of 13,19,754 new students, of which 13,14,965 have passed," he said.

The passing percentage of girls was 99.73, while 99.54 per cent of boys and 99.59 per cent of differently-abled students passed the evaluation.

Earlier, School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad wished good luck to students through a tweet. Gaikwad tweeted saying, “...Thanks to all colleges and teachers for going beyond their call of duty and ensuring the results are finalised in a short span of time.”
