In a major development, the Maharashtra govt has announced the schedule for the Class 10 (SSC) and Class 12 (HSC) board examinations for 2021-22. The exams will be conducted in offline mode. The written exams of Class 12 will be held from March 4, 2022, to April 07, 2022, and for Class 10, the exams will begin from March 15, 2022, to April 18, 2022.

The minister stressed that the health and well-being of students will remain a priority and exams will be conducted in compliance with Covid-19 norms. The results for the HSC are likely to be declared by the second week of June and SSC results by the second week of July in 2022.
