A delegation led by Maharashtra forest minister Sudhir Mungantiwar on Monday visited Ahmedabad to study Gujarat's 'Chief Minister Dashboard' initiative.


The plan is to study the CM Dashboard and also understand how a similar initiative can be implemented in Maharashtra, Mungantiwar said.


The CM dashboard initiative aims to monitor the development of district level activities of different schemes launched by the Gujarat government.


Hitting out at the visit, Nationalist Congress Party spokesperson Mahesh Tapase said there cannot be more desperate times for the government here if it had to visit the Gujarat for a developmental model.

The Maharashtra government has been facing flak after the mutli-billion Vedanta-Foxconn semiconductor chip project was bagged by Gujarat.

The delegation comprised industries minister Uday Samant, Vikas Kharge, principal secretary to the chief minister, Jayashree Bhoj, managing director of Maharashtra

Information Technology Corporation Ltd, Ashish Kulkarni, Officer on Special Duty to the chief minister, and Kaustubh Dhavse, Officer on Special Duty to the deputy chief minister, an official statement said.
