Turbhe Railway protection force have arrested an accused who pushed his wife from a running train. The accused has been identified as Abdul Hamid Shaikh,  a resident at Rabale Sainagar.

The incident took place one kilometre away from Ghansoli station when the train was heading towards Thane. That was when a heated argument took place between Abdul and his wife Sunita Rokde (30 years), as they reached the footboard of the local train.

Sunita Rokde told the police in her statement," Abdul is my second husband we are together since the past three years. Over the last six months, he was doubting me of having an affair with another man, which was not true. He would always fight with me and hit me. On 24th, when I was on my way to home, he followed me and entered in the same compartment and began arguing with me. After this he suddanly pushed me from the running train."

Radheshyam Gurjar, constable RPF told midday," I was on duty at Ghansoli station when around 4:32 pm a wireless messege arrived that there was a lady commuter who fell off from train. I rushed to the spot. Upon arrival, I saw the lady was bleeding profusely. Her eyes were opened. At around 4:40 pm, I immediately asked the motorman of a Thane train to halt. With the help of farmers and commuters I put her in the local train and took her to Rabale station and from there to Vashi NMMC hospital by an autorickshaw, where the doctor began her treatment".

She reached hospital in Golden Hours
Sunita Rokde was badly injured during the incident. She was bledding from her head, lip and hand. Due to RPF constable Radheshyam's good presence of mind, she is alive. The doctor said she would have not been alive, if she was brought in later.

When the heated argument between husband and wife was taking place in the train, many other commuters were present in the compartment. The commuters got off the train and informed an on-duty RPF official, who later arrested him. After his arrest, RPF conveyed the messege on wireless and later Radheshyam rush to the spot.
