Malabar Hill police catch stalker red-handed after woman confronts him; the German national was being stalked by the man identified as Sadiq Khan, a driver from Mazgaon, for two months
On friday evening, a 38-year-old German national got her stalker arrested after being shadowed by the 28-year-old man for two months.

The woman first spotted the accused, Sadiq Khan, a driver from Mazgaon, following her on a two-wheeler when she was dropping her daughter to school at Breach Candy on her scooty. He followed her from Breach Candy to her residence in Peddar Road.
On Friday, at 5 pm, she spotted him following her again, when she was dropping her daughter to yoga class at Napean Sea Road. “My wife noticed that the man was riding close behind her. She changed her route several times to lose him but he continued to tail her.
She noted down the number of his scooter and called me when she reached Jehangir Towers on Napean Sea road,” said her husband. “I got to the spot and saw his bike. I caught hold of him once she identified him.”The couple called the Malabar Hill police and got him arrested on the spot.
Senior police inspector, Gamdevi police station, Rajaram Prabhu, said, a case has been registered under IPC Section 354 (D) (stalking) and 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman). Khan was presented at the Esplanade Holiday court on Saturday where he was granted bail.
