Amid rising Covid-19 cases in Mumbai, Mayor Kishori Pednekar said that citizens purchasing self-test kits will have to provide their Aadhaar cards to chemists in order to maintain a record.

According to news agency ANI, Kishori said, "We have decided that everyone purchasing self-test kits will have to provide their Aadhaar cards to the chemists to maintain a record. If anyone tests positive they must inform the authorities and update this online."
