Aryan Khan extortion case: Mumbai Police Special Enquiry Team summons Pooja Dadlani

The Special Enquiry Team (SET) of Mumbai Police, probing the alleged extortion in connection with the arrest of Aryan Khan, has summoned Shah Rukh Khan’s manager Pooja Dadlani to record her statement, as she was the one who allegedly paid the extortion money to KP Gosavi and the people associated with him.

Mumbai Police have also summoned Chikky Pandey as he was also part of the alleged meeting between Gosavi and Dadlani. Pandey had also not appeared before the police citing a Covid-19 positive report.

"Summons has been issued to Dadlani in capacity of a witness to record her statement but she has not appeared before the SET citing health reasons," a senior officer of Mumbai Police told mid-day.

According to Police, Dadlani was summoned on Friday and was asked to appear before the SET on Saturday but she said she cannot make it due to health reasons. Dadlani has not given an exact time at which she is going to appear before the SET but the cops have asked her to visit as soon as possible.

Mumbai Police have recorded around 15 statements in the case so far.
