Shivang Nath, the son of veteran television and Bollywood actor Alok Nath, was booked for drunk driving late on Monday night. According to reports, he was returning from the birthday party of a friend.
According to the police, Shivang was driving back home from a pub in Khar, along with his four friends in his Ford Eco Sports car, when the cops asked him to stop near Khar police station. “As a routine practice, I asked him to roll down the window and tell us his name, to check if he was driving under the influence of alcohol. But, instead of speaking to me, he sped away in the direction of Santacruz. Our motorcycle was parked nearby, so we decided to give him a chase,” said traffic police constable Sandeep Shirke.
