A 50-year-old voter died while he was waiting in the queue to caste his vote at Sakinaka, this morning.

A 50-year-old voter died while he was waiting in the queue to caste his vote at Sakinaka, this morning.


The voter, who has been identified as Lalmani Rammoorat Vishwakarma, is a resident of ward number 154, Mistry Chawl in Sakinaka.


On Thursday morning, at around 9 am, Vishwakarma had gone for voting at Yogiraj Vidyalay, Pipeline in Sakinaka. While waiting in the queue at the voting centre, he sat down near a water tank located close by. A little while later, he collapsed on the floor and was rushed to the Rajawadi Hospital by an Independent candidate Sanjay Tiwari, who was at the spot that moment but was declared brought dead by the doctors.


Police has informed his son in Uttar Pradesh. Sources said, Vishwakarma earlier had two heart attacks in the past and this was the third one.
