Mumbai: Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray held a meeting of the party legislators here this evening, following the BJP government winning the trust vote in the Maharashtra Assembly earlier in the day amid high drama.

"People have seen what happened in the Assembly. I will speak at the right time," Thackeray told reporters after the meeting. He also added that he will undertake a state wide tour from November 17 to thank the people for their faith in the Shiv Sena.

"I have planned a tour across Maharashtra to interact with party leaders and to thank the people for the faith shown in us. I will start my tour from Konkan," he said.
Meanwhile, a Sena leader said that Thackeray asked them to intensify the offensive against the BJP government if it did not work in the interest of the the people and "give them a hard time in the future". "We have been told to get ready to play the role of a very strong opposition," the leader said.
