Two minor boys caught with US-made pistols in Nerul

The Railway Police nabbed the two boys after the duo was seen moving suspiciously in a Harbour line train at Nerul. Two US-made pistols were recovered from their possession

Mumbai: Two minor boys were found suspiciously moving around in a Harbour line train at Nerul on Monday evening.

When the GRP officials brought them down from the train, they were found with 7.65 caliber US-made pistols which may cost around Rs 2 lakhs as claimed by the police officials.

The boys claimed that a 24-year-old friend of theirs handed them these weapons.

The friend is, however, still absconding while the boys have been sent to the Bhiwandi remand home. More details are awaited.
