A cyber cafe in Ulhasnagar was raided and as many as 24 persons were arrested for allegedly indulging in obscene acts, police said on Wednesday

A cyber cafe in Ulhasnagar was raided and as many as 24 persons were arrested for allegedly indulging in obscene acts, police said on Wednesday.


A raid was conducted on Tuesday evening and 24 persons including 11 couples were found to be indulging in obscene acts. The couples, cafe owner Lallan Shah and manager Niranjan were nabbed, they said.


According to police, they had received complaints that illegal activities were running at a cyber cafe near Ulhasnagar railway station.


A case under section 294 has been registered in this connection and investigations are underway, they added.
