Apparently, around 36 people have been tested positive for swine flu in the city in the last couple of days, out of which 14 cases were reported on Thursday.
The lady, who hailed from Bhopal, tested positive for the virus on January 21 and was being treated at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital from January 25.
Mumbai is proving to be another hotspot for the disease with 57 cases having been reported, with 33 patients being Mumbai locals.
Apparently, all the patients who tested positive on Thursday are said to be stable. Nine of the patients have been admitted in different hospitals across the city.
Despite the high number of patients being admitted with swine flu symptoms, the BMC authorities are claiming to have sufficient stock of the antibiotics and Tamiflu medicines to tackle the issue and claim to have the situation under control.
