A website called desiclub.com has placed the Indian security forces,u00a0 involved in saving lives of hundreds of people from all over the world during Mumbai attacks, on number one position in its list of top 50 'Coolest Desis'.
The arts and culture site which is very popular among second-and third-generation of South Asians in North America, reported that it is almost impossible to name each and every hero and victim of "the horrible events" of November 26.
The site, however, particularly recognised the efforts of "Hemant Karkare, Ashok Kamte, Vijay Salaskar, Karambir Singh Kang, the CST railway staff, Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, Gajender Singh, the Mumbai Fire brigade and countless more. It said that "here's to the families of the loved ones who were lost and a salute to the security men and women of India who sacrificed all to save them."
