Several such posters were circulated on social media, especially on WhatsApp. However, the Sena has claimed it has no hand in it, and said it must have been done by some workers. BJP, however, claims that such things do have the support of the party high command and isn’t buying the story those Sena leaders have got nothing to do with it.
The images that are being circulated have blamed Modi of taking credit of UPA’s scheme. The forwards also take a dig at universities, stating studies were of prominence earlier, but now it’s only fights.
Harshal Pradhan, aide of Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray said, “The images circulated aren’t endorsed by the party.”
However, the BJP isn’t buying this story and Vivekanand Gupta, the Secretary of BJP Mumbai said, “If Sena claims that the images do not belong to them, then they should register a complaint with IT cyber Cell, as it is using Sena’s name and logo. Also, it is discrediting the PM.”
He further added, “It’s a clear cut case of mischief and it appears that the workers doing it, have the blessings of higher ups in the party.”
