Get their aches attended to with massages, post campaign trail
Politicians meeting their electorate over the last few weeks have discovered little known muscles that have been an unadulterated pain.
Yet, padyatras over, politicians are giving themselves up for further pummeling massages, pedicures, foot therapy.
After the R&R, netas are also heading for a holiday either in India or abroad, back before the results are announced Singapore, Europe and parts of South East Asia.
According to Uday Pratap Singh, spokesperson NCP, politicians generally resort to relaxation techniques after the physical strain that defines a campaign trail.

"The rallies have taken a toll on the politicians and massages have now become a necessity," said Singh.

"After padyatras my mother used to immerse her feet in hot water as it's relaxing," said her son Vinod Sekhar.
According to sources, Baba Siddique, the other Congress candidate from Bandra gets a foot spa massage after his rallies.
"It helps him get rid of the pain after campaigning. His family is also forcing him to go on a short vacation after the elections are over," said the source.
However, BJP candidates say they are an exception. Sardar Tara Singh, the BJP candidate from Mulund said, "I am not tired and even now I am holding meetings of the booth workers of my party.
I will rest only after the elections are over."
