A seven-year-old girl from Mulund was allegedly raped repeatedly by a neighbour, over a period of three days
In yet another shocking incident in Mumbai, a 7-yr-old was sexually assaulted by a neighbour in au00a0co-operative housing society in Mulund. The accused has been identified as Samuel Nadar. Both accused and survivor are residents of the same society.

An officer from Mulund police station said, “Whenever the victim came outside to the playground to play, the accused lured her with sweets and kept raping her. He has been doing this for the past three days.”

On Tuesday, the child started experiencing extreme pain, and was admitted to a hospital. She subsequently revealed to her mother that Nadar had been raping her after providing her chocolates.
Nadar has been booked under section 376 (rape) of the Indian Penal Code. Nadar was produced in court on Wednesday and has been remanded in police custody.
