NCP leaders get bail in temple case in Thane

A local NCP leader and his associates were released on bail by the First Class Judicial Magistrate here in a case filed against them for constructing a temple which disturbed the smooth flow of traffic.

Bunty Jitendra Awhad, NCP general secretary Manoj Pradhan, Corporator Naeeb Mulla and others were summoned yesterday in a case filed by a citizen here.

After hearing Awhad's counsel, the magistrate released the respondents on a bail of Rs 15,000.
