Mumbai: Debt-ridden tailor hangs himself

A 35-year-old debt-ridden tailor committed suicide by hanging himself at his rented house at New Collector Compound in Malwani on Thursday night.


The deceased has been identified as Jahangir Mansoori, who hailed from Muzaffarpur district, Bihar.


According to police, Mansoori was depressed from the past few days. He had borrowed Rs 70,000 from his mother-in-law to pay for the visa to work in a Gulf country, but he failed in the medical test, and was unable to repay the loan.
