On Friday, the public prosecutor had said Chintan was the mastermind and on his orders, absconding accused Vidyadhar Rajbhar killed them. He added that Chintan called Hema’s domestic help to confirm if she had gone missing.

But defence advocate Niteen Pradhan argued that Chintan was in touch with Vidyadhar as he used to make fibreglass for artists. He said Chintan was in Delhi at the time of the incident and there was no evidence to link him to the murders.
