Despite approaching the police for help, no traces of Tarun could be found. Now, the family, tired of police inaction, has created their own team to search for their son.
Starting from February 19, the six-member team - Tarun's father Vinod, one of their relative, two Vinod's co-workers and two professional detectives have begun looking for Tarun in Madhya Pradesh, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh.
As per Vinod, the family has already searched for Tarun in Gujarat over the last 15 days, where they got a lead that Tarun was seen in Jamnagar about a month and a half ago. The people who confirmed seeing Vinod even specified that when they saw Tarun, he had bruises on his face.
Vinod told Mid-Day, "Now, Agra and Punjab leads are strong. He was seen at Punjab's Ferozpur's bus stand, while a tourist spotted him in Agra where he was sleeping on a heap of garbage and gave him some money. He saw the posters later and informed us."
The team is positive with the leads and is hoping that their 'Mission Finding Tarun' will yield positive news soon.
