A 24-year-old man had a miraculous escape after he came under a train as he was attempting to cross the tracks at Masjid. CCTV footage showed the man trying to climb the platform from the track as the train approached. He then got stuck between the train and the platform and was spun around for a few meters before the train stopped.

As per reports by Times of India, the incident occurred at around 10 am on Tuesday as he was crossing the tracks. The man was later extracted after the train halted. A resident of Reay Road, the man is said to be living with this mother and brother and was headed to CST for work when he decided to cross the tracks to get from platform 1 and 2 to platform 3 and 4.
As per an RPF officer, "Shaikh was on platform 1-2 and wanted to reach platform 3-4. CCTV cameras have captured the incident. At 10.09am, a Kalyan-bound local hurtled towards Shaikh and he was drugged in the gap for a few second. He remained stuck there even after the train halted."
When the incident occurred, two constables Nitin Avsarmal and SK Yadav, rushed to the man’s aid. They said, "We tried to pull him out but could not get him out. We then pushed him down onto the tracks, through the gap. With the help of other passengers, we went under the stationary train and pulled Shaikh out from the other end. He was lifted onto a stretcher and taken to St Geroge's Hospital in another train." They added that the victim’s entire body was bruised.
