Traffic teachings for kids
While there are road rules for drivers to follow, pedestrians very often have no such guidelines. The result is often that people break traffic rules, risking their lives as well as those of others.

A possible solution comes from Inorbit Mall, Vashi, which will have a two-hour session on traffic rules and regulations for children from 4pm to 6pm today, conducted by the Navi Mumbai traffic police. KL Prasad, Police Commissioner of Navi Mumbai along with other traffic police personnel will have an interactive session for 200 schoolchildren to teach them basic traffic rules.
Traffic rules need to be respected by both, drivers and pedestrians. Hope this helps groom a generation of responsible and alert future citizens!
Child’s play for a good cause
Brocken toys need not be thrown away. The adhesive brand Fevikwik is organising a drive for children to donate their old and broken toys, which Fevikwik will repair and donate to underprivileged children through the Akanksha Foundation. The toys can be donated at selected outlets of Shoppers Stop and Hobby Idea, and donors will get a Hobby Idea voucher. The initiative is on till November 16. It’s a great move, as broken toys are often junked. All we can say is — Fevikwik, please do it more often, not just on the occasion of Children’s Day.

Midway, Uddhav got up and left the room — faithfully followed by other party leaders. But he was not leaving, he was merely going to use the washroom!
