Amjad Khan made only one film which flopped. He had announced a film on Malala Yousafzai, which never saw the light of day
Sharma first met Khan in 2012. Later, Khan went for some work to Haryana and met Sharma. Sharma claimed Khan promised him the lead role in a project called ‘Black Rain.’ Khan told him that it would be great if he (Sharma) paid him Rs 15 lakh as he was not getting a financier. He allegedly told him that once the movie was released and became a hit, he would return thrice the amount. Sharma, who was desperate to get into films, gave him the money. He said, “But even after two years he did not start the project nor was he giving back the money. Khan later threatened to harm me and said he had contacts in the right places.”
Mumbai police informed
A year back Sharma registered an FIR with the police in Haryana against Khan. Police Inspectors Sandeep Ahlawat and Prakash Veer came to Mumbai with a team on Saturday to arrest him. The cops first informed the Amboli police, then with them went to Khan’s place, and arrested him. In the Andheri shootout case, the Gurgaon cops had not informed Mumbai police and killed gangster Sandeep Gadoli, after which they are facing inquiry. Inspector Ahlawat said, “We were clearly told by our superiors to inform local police in Mumbai before taking any action.”

Ahlawat added, “We have produced Khan in a local court and got transit remand for him. We are taking him to Haryana tonight and will produce him in court on Monday or Tuesday, after which further investigations will be done.”
Sharma said he currently teaches yoga and martial arts in Haryana. He has decided he has had enough of the film industry. He said, “The film industry is very difficult to survive and I have got experience of it for a lifetime.”
Khan had made a film, ‘Le Gaye Saddam,’ which flopped, and had announced he was going to make a film on Malala Yousafzai, and given interviews to several media houses regarding this, but it never saw the light of day.
