A 34-year-old karate teacher, Sanjay Saha, has registered a case against Bhojpuri director Ramakant Prasad who cheated him with false promise of playing Amitabh Bachchan's son
The offer of playing Amitabh Bachchan’s son in a movie proved too good to be true for a karate teacher, and, as it turned out, he ended up losing Rs 60 lakh in the bargain. The 34-year-old karate teacher, Sanjay Saha, recently registered a case of cheating against Bhojpuri movie producer and director, Ramakant Prasad, at the Goregaon police station.

According to the complainant, Saha used to get small roles in Bhojpuri movies thanks to his karate skills, which is how he became acquainted with Ramakant.
Ramakant allegedly told Saha that he was making a movie with Amitabh Bachchan playing the lead role, and he was looking for a new face to play his son. Saha gladly accepted the offer. After a few days, Ramakant asked Saha for help to fund the movie.

Police said Saha got Rs 60 lakh against his house and gave it to Ramakant. However, even after six months, when the film did not start, Saha realised that he had been duped. “I have lost my home and now I am surviving in a very bad condition,” said Saha.
Police sources said that Ramakant has moved out of the city and they are trying to arrest him. A police official said, “He has switched off his phone, but we will trace him.”
