An alleged member of Pakistani terrorist outfit LeT was arrested at the city's international airport on Monday. Salim Khan, a native of Hathgaon in Fatehpur, UP, against whom Indian authorities had issued a look out notice after his name cropped up in the 2008 Rampur CRPF Camp terrorist attack, was held on his arrival from Dubai.
Khan is also suspected to be involved in a hawala ring on the instructions of his handler from Pakistan's ISI, and provided finances through hawala channels to terror operative Aftab Ali in Faizabad for sending information of military installations in UP to Pakistan.
ATS officials said they nabbed Khan from the Mumbai Airport on the intervening night of 16th and 17th July.
