The arrested man has been identified as Ramniwas Prajapati. He was produced in court yesterday and has been remanded in police custody.
Prajapati told the police during interrogation that the cartridge is empty because he fired a round of bullets on Diwali to check his pistol.
Now, the cops are trying to get the Call Data Records (CDR) of Prajapati’s mobile phone, to compare it with the time and location of the Kurar firing incident.
