After the arrest of five accused in the Kamala Mills tragedy, the police are making all efforts to nab absconding accused Yug Tuli, partner of Mojo's Bistro pub. Tuli was last spotted at Hyderabad airport and then unconfirmed reports claimed he was in Amritsar. According to the police, a relative of Tuli has told cops that he is currently in Amritsar. "Right now, we don't have any clue about Tuli's whereabouts," said a police officer.

The police have formed five teams, which are working round the clock, to trace him. The Sessions court where Tuli had filed an anticipatory bail application has also reserved its judgement. Meanwhile, three other accused, Kripesh and Jignesh Sanghvi and Abhijeet Mankar — owners of 1 Above — who were nabbed on Wednesday, were produced in Bhoiwada court yesterday afternoon.

The defence lawyers tried to claim that the owners of 1 Above were being framed as the fire started in the neighbouring pub Mojo's Bistro. "Cops haven't investigated the case properly," the defence argued. However, after hearing the arguments from government pleader, advocate Prakash Shetty, the metropolitan magistrate ruled in favour of the cops, and sent all the accused to police custody till January 17.
