The Bombay High Court on Thursday refused to transfer the investigations in TV serial actress Pratyusha Banerjee's case to a special investigation agency

HC refuses to transfer Pratyusha Banerjee's case to special investigation agency

The Bombay High Court on Thursday refused to transfer the investigations in TV serial actress Pratyusha Banerjee's case to a special investigation agency.


Bangur Nagar police station, at present are handling the case of the 'Balika Vadhu' actress.


Pratyusha's mother Shoma Banerjee approached the HC demanding that investigations be transferred to Mumbai Crime Branch.


However her request was declined by Justice Naresh Patil and Justice A M Badar saying. The bench said,"We are satisfied by the present investigations as it's on the right track. Let Bangur Nagar police investigate the case."

The court will review the investigations by police on 5th May.
